Transforming Education Through Strategic Digital Design

ASDAN is a UK-based education charity and awarding organisation that provides regulated qualifications, accredited curriculum programmes, and engaging courses for young people aged 11 to 25. Their mission is to engage, elevate and empower learners who are often in greatest need, helping them to build skills for learning, work, and life.

To support this important mission, Energise Technology partnered with ASDAN to design and deliver a comprehensive digital strategy and roadmap that aligns technology with their long-term vision for education.

Our Collaboration with ASDAN

We began by working closely with ASDAN’s leadership and technical teams to fully understand their organisational goals, challenges, and future ambitions. This collaborative process resulted in a robust five-year digital strategy focused on growth, sustainability, and efficiency.

Our work included:

• Development of a 5-year strategic digital plan

• Design of a new technical architecture to support future objectives

• Migration from local hosting to secure cloud infrastructure

• Partnership with ASDAN’s internal development team to introduce best practices and improved processes

• Selection and integration of a CRM system

• Finance system integration for operational efficiency

By aligning ASDAN’s digital systems with their strategic goals, we created a strong technical foundation that will support their continued innovation and impact in education.

ASDAN’s courses are designed to help young learners discover their passion and purpose as they progress into further education, employment, or training. It was crucial that their digital infrastructure reflected these values — accessible, future-focused, and empowering.

Our digital roadmap ensures that ASDAN can continue to evolve, delivering quality programmes and maintaining resilience as technology and education landscapes shift.
